Electronic Shelf Label
The Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) is mounted onto a store shelf and programmed to display information that customers would find on conventional shelf labels. ESLs connect to a network, facilitating the flow of information from a central controller to all the ESLs in a store, or across an entire chain of stores. This digital display eliminates the redundancies and inefficiencies of relying on paper shelf labels, allowing retailers to control prices and displays with ease.
