Synchronous Controller

UWB controller copy As a part of the UWB Precision Location System, the synchronous controller serves as the main coordinator. It has ten network interfaces, including eight interfaces to connect to readers. Each of these eight interfaces can connect to five readers, so a synchronous controller can control up to 40 readers. The remaining two interfaces are for connecting to Ethernet. The readers send TDOA packets and the controller transfers this information to the location software to achieve real-time updates on location. The synchronous controller coordinates the tags using 2.4 GHz antennae. Multiple controllers can be linked to control a larger area and more tags.
