V-Mark Enterprises Sponsors ZigBee Alliance Membership Meeting

VANCOUVER, BC, June 16, 2014 — This year’s second ZigBee Alliance Membership Meeting began today at the Sheraton Wall Centre in downtown Vancouver. The ZigBee Alliance is a nonprofit association comprised of private and public members who work to develop standards for innovative technology using the ZigBee network. The ZigBee network connects sensors, access points, and a multitude of pieces of technology together through a self-healing mesh network. During this meeting, members will continue improving and perfecting product standards for ZigBee certification, ensuring the interoperability of products across different producers, and discussing the strategic direction of the Alliance as a whole.

V-Mark Enterprises, a proud member of the Alliance, is sponsoring this event. “The Membership Meetings are a great way to connect with fellow Alliance members and to understand what incredible innovations are in the works. When ZigBee announced it would be holding this meeting in Vancouver, V-Mark was glad to help out in whatever way we could,” said George Zhang, V-Mark’s general manager.

With the ZigBee Alliance, V-Mark is primarily engaged in the design and production of Temperature Tags and Electronic Shelf Labels that use the ZigBee network to provide clients with real-time updates, reliability, and flexibility. V-Mark’s Temperature Tag is the first ZigBee-certified thermometer under strict ZigBee protocol, and is employed in thousands of retail stores.
